Dreams Do Become Reality!

A couple of years ago I was sitting having coffee with a friend of mine who is semi-retired. She's worked extremely hard as a criminal lawyer all her life with great success and really enjoys her semi-retired state and the ability to travel whenever she and her husband want to get away from it all.

The interesting thing though, was that she had a big wish and a dream. At this point in her life, she really, really wanted to get a special vehicle for herself. She wanted a Lexus SC430 convertible. Now in Canada, this car retails for about $93,000, so she expressed that she wanted it but really wasn't sure about spending that kind of money, and on a car that she would only drive in the summer months. That logical, analytical part of her brain was crunching the numbers and holding her back.

Now, what do you think I told her? You bet I did!!!!! I told her to go for it! Life is too darned short and if this was something that she really wanted for herself, that would make her happy and feel good, then go for it! She deserved to have her dream fulfilled, just like you do!

You can't always rationalize and analyize something and live from your logical or left brained side. We all need to have our wishes, dreams and goals and they need to be something that is so special to you that it will motivate you to do whatever is necessary to accomplish that dream. You don't have to justify your dreams to anyone else but you.

So this morning, I had the wonderful pleasure of watching my friend pick up her beautiful champagne white Lexus SC430 hard top convertible! I am sooooo thrilled for her! She deserves it and all the pleasure that this car will bring her!

Her dream was stong enough to motivate her to take action and turn that dream into a reality!
So I ask you this. What is your dream? What is so important to you that you will do anything to make it happen and turn it into your reality?

As Napoleon Hill said, "you can be anything you want to be if only you believe with sufficient conviction and act in accordance with your faith, for whatever the mind can conceive and believe, the mind can achieve".

Dream about it, believe that you can do it, and you will achieve it. No dream is too big or too small. Remember, it is YOURS! Own it, live it and make it happen.

To your dreams!

Thought for the day!

The small challenges give you the opportunity to build strength.

The big challenges give you the opportunity to make valuable use of that strength
.
Small, simple efforts, repeated over and over again, give you the ability to undertake the bigger, more complicated efforts.

Making the most of every moment puts you in a position to achieve the very best with each day.

By paying attention to the details, you will discover and develop ways in which to positively and successfully influence the big picture.

By making sure that the mundane and tedious tasks are taken care of, you open the door to exciting, impressive and spectacular results.

Big achievements are always composed of many, many smaller achievements.

That is what makes real, substantial success available to anyone.

For anyone can begin the process by taking a modest positive step forward.

Take enough of those steps, and you can go anywhere you desire to go.

In every moment, in every situation, there is some small detail you can attend to, some small challenge that you can embrace.

Make a habit of always giving whatever you can, and you'll reach the point where you can achieve whatever you wish.

Embrace your challenges!

Warmly,
Mary Wozny
